I think that the main themes of this story can remain true. The biggest theme for me while I was writing was the guilt that both Francesca and Michael felt over falling in love with each other, because John was Francesca's beloved husband, and John was Michael's beloved best friend and cousin, so they felt deeply guilty falling in love with each other.
